EXTREMA RATIO SILENT KNIFE (0370/BLK)

SILENTE is the name of the knife taken from the motto “SICUT NOX SILENTES” of the NOCS Central Security Operations Unit, a special anti-terrorism unit of the State Police. SILENTE was presented to the Department, the Authorities, the Minister of the Interior and the Chief of Police on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary ceremony of the foundation of the NOCS. SILENTE is a unique model of its kind that fulfills equally singular needs: the handle is divided into two parts and creates the grip of a pair of pliers located at the end of the handle. With it, in addition to gripping anything that has an adequate size, it can cut barbed wire, wire, steel cables, etc. and last but not least, it can be used as a glass breaker, given the tungsten carbide insert at the end. The sheath protects the cutting part during all these uses, allowing it to be used safely, but it can also release the blade with a retention system that can be operated quickly and silently. Adaptable for use on the thigh and applicable to the MOLLE system, it integrates into the operator's equipment using the least possible space.
