BLACK EXTREMA RATIO MERCY KNIFE (0479/BLK/CIV)

The Extrema Ratio Misericordia was adopted by the 4th Alpine Parachute Regiment which helped develop and test the product. It is a fixed blade tactical knife, extremely light and compact, it can be used both as a main knife or as a backup blade. The blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, heat treated to a hardness of 58 HRc, is 118 mm long, 4 mm thick and has a flat edge. The profile is of the spear point type, with a full length fuller that makes the blade even lighter and with a ¾ length false edge. The blade is available in the classic MIL-C-13924 Extrema Ratio black finish. The glass fiber reinforced nylon (FRN) handle features the classic Extrema Ratio grooves that make the grip more secure and is fixed to the tang by means of a through screw. On the rear end, the handle flows, joining up with a large ring, which allows the use of martial arts techniques and ensures the hand a very solid grip, equipped with a hard metal "skull crusher" appendix. The overall weight of the knife is just 87g. Being a knife designed for professional use, much attention has been paid to the ease of carrying, accessibility and extraction in case of need. The knife is secured to the scabbard by a quick release safety which can be easily reversed for left handed use. The sheath is made of high-strength Nylon, it is very versatile and two adjustable loops allow it to be fixed inside the loops of the MOLLE systems The sheath is equipped with a conical invitation to facilitate the reinsertion of the knife while a simple pressure on the trigger safety allows you to extract it quickly and instinctively. An optional kydex sheath is also available (sold separately) equipped with two flaps of fabric (male Velcro strip on one side and female Velcro on the other) to allow concealed carrying of the product between the bulletproof vest and magazine pouch. This scabbard also offers the possibility of attaching it to an adjustable belt using a belt clip (sold separately).
