The RAVIN crossbows are based on two revolutionary technologies, HeliCoil® and Frictionless Flight ™, in order to develop extreme speeds offering the best precision ever experienced: ballistic tests over 100 meters have produced a shot pattern of just 8 centimeters.
FRICTIONLESS FLIGHT ™ TECHNOLOGY
Thanks to the innovative design of the crossbow body, the darts do not rest on a guide but remain suspended, thanks to the Frictionless Flight ™ system which reduces friction to zero during the firing phase, so as to be able to reach very high speeds, up to 450 fps .
HELICOIL® TECHNOLOGY
This revolutionary technology offers several advantages over classic compound crossbows, making the Ravin the most accurate crossbow ever designed.
The rope remains perfectly parallel to the plane of rotation of the pulleys, while the cables, in the charging phase, wrap around the cams in such a way as to allow a rotation of 340 degrees. This eccentric rotation allows the pulleys to be extremely close together, for unrivaled compactness.
The perfect balance of the crossbow and the rotation of the pulleys allow a precision unmatched by any other crossbow.
TRAC-TRIGGER ™ FIRING SYSTEM
Integrated patented trigger, which slides forward along the rail to engage the string precisely in the center. In this way the stroke of the dart is perfectly balanced.
VERSA-DRAW ™ COCKING SYSTEM
This ultra compact system integrated into the stock works in conjunction with the Trac-Trigger trigger system. With just 10 pounds of effort on the loading lever you can easily load and unload the crossbow. The lever is ambidextrous and can be mounted on either side of the stock.
