ASTER V3 ™ will transform your V3 geared AEG into a computerized training weapon system equipped with optical sensors instead of mechanical switches, which can be prone to failure. With an additional dongle it allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the trigger with military precision.
The innovative trigger proximity sensor offers up to 315 different sensitivity settings.

Optical sensors
ASTER V3 is equipped with a well-known and tested optical trigger sensor, the same as TITAN V3, optical sensors that detect the positions of the gear and selector cam. With the GCS app, you can easily calibrate, test and adjust all sensors.

Adjustment of the selector switching point
The selector sensor offers an option for fine calibration of the selector switching point.
Sensitivity adjustment trigger
The trigger sensor also offers 315 possible sensitivity settings. There is no need to disassemble the replica. Use the GCS app to adjust the trigger to your preferences and skill level. You can also activate the 2-stage trigger and set two different trigger sensitivities.
Pressing the trigger lightly produces a Semi or Burst fire and further pressing the trigger produces Burst, Burst / Auto or Auto. Also, by updating the firmware to the ADVANCED or EXPERT version, you can even use the equalizer mode. Thanks to this option, it is not necessary to fully release the trigger to fire the next shot.
This option is really useful when the trigger sensitivity level is very high. The gen. 2 The trigger proximity sensor offers the following sensitivity ranges, depending on the structure of the trigger

Note that:
Trigger sensitivity and selector switching point cannot be set during trigger programming.
USB-Link and Blu-Link are not included in the basic ASTER sets


FUNCTIONS
FOCUS SELECTOR MODE (gen.2)
Two selector sensors allow you to take advantage of up to 343 variations of focus selector modes, depending on the firmware edition of the device. The following modes are available for selection *:

Safe : Prevents your gun from firing, even if the safety lever is removed
Semi : Allows you to fire one shot for each trigger pull
Binary - allows you to fire one shot when the trigger is pulled and another shot when released
Burst : Allows you to fire at a predetermined number of BBs, which is very useful in MILSIMs and when using low-caps. There are 2 Burst modes available:
Full : Burst shooting is performed fully, even if the trigger is released early
Interruptible: The burst can be stopped by releasing the trigger early
Burst / Auto - available only for Full burst mode; allows you to extend a burst by any number of shots - holding the trigger after the burst has been fired switches to Auto mode

Automatic shots are fired as long as the trigger is pulled
Semi Ramping: If you pull the trigger very quickly, it switches to Auto mode

Note: In case of regional block, only Semi mode is available. Check the law in your country.

PRE-COCKING (Jan.1.5)
Winning the game is often a matter of fractions of a second. Thanks to the Pre-cocking, you get a trigger reaction similar to a real gun. Allows initial spring compression, which greatly accelerates trigger response. The spring is automatically compressed after each shot.

Manual mode: set
Armament boost time ranging from 1 to 250ms with 1ms accuracy and provides automatic voltage drop compensation. Pre-cocking is fully operational regardless of the fire selection mode.

Note: The use of pre-cocking increases gear wear.

LOADER
This function allows you to simulate magazines with a capacity lower than that actually used.
Even if you have a high-capacity magazine, this feature allows you to truly increase the realism of your game by mimicking that your magazine is at real limit. So, after firing a predetermined number of BBs, you will have to wait a previously defined period of time before you can fire a subsequent shot,
as if you really had to replace the empty magazine with a full one. In case of ADVANCED and EXPERT firmware, you can also set a low ammo warning.

SAFETY LIMIT AS STANDARD
An AEG can continuously fire a predefined number of BBs in a single series. This can be used as a trigger jam protection. Important notice: in case of an emergency,
you can always stop shooting by changing the position of the fire selector.

SNIPER DELAY
It allows you to set the delay between shots or sets to simulate the delay from reloading or recoil. You can set a delay of 0.2s, 0.5s, 1s, 2s or 3s for the ADVANCED firmware and 0.01–5s for the EXPERT firmware.

ROF CONTROL
This allows for a reduction in the rate of fire of a gun.
You use more powerful LiPo batteries and still have a ROF just like in a real gun.

Power: Uses PWM to reduce ROF. Thanks to this, the gearbox works smoothly, which reduces wear on the internal parts of the AEG.

Delay: Add pauses between hits to decrease ROF. It gives you a more realistic experience.
Adaptive: You just have to set the desired rate of fire. Then, power and delay are automatically adjusted to achieve this ROF

BASIC firmware: 6 power settings
ADVANCED Firmware: 6 power settings and 6 delays
EXPERT Firmware: Power: 100–1%, Delay: 5–1000 ms or Adaptive: 1–100 RPS

SMART TRIGGER
We know how vital the rapid trigger response is during combat. This is why we have developed the Smart Trigger function. It allows you to get faster trigger response. Works with the ROF control system. During the first shot, the microprocessor sets the ROF control to 100%. After the first shot, it passes to a previously programmed value (eg
.g. 50%). As a result, the first shot is fired at a full ROF and subsequent shots at a reduced ROF. The best results are obtained using a battery with a voltage higher than the standard. For example, if you are using a 7.4V battery, you can replace it with an 11.1V battery. This way,
you'll get faster trigger response with the same rate of fire as a standard battery.

It only works if the ROF is reduced using the power settings of the ROF control.

BATTERY PROTECTION (gen.2)
Protection against over-discharge of the battery. Modern LiPo and LiFe batteries are very sensitive to over-discharge.
If you don't want to damage your battery and care about its durability, this protection is indispensable. The microprocessor constantly monitors the battery voltage. When the voltage drops to a critical level, it will not allow the shot. The number of battery cells can be detected automatically.

LOW BATTERY NOTICE
When the battery voltage drops to a predefined level, the motor will vibrate at regular intervals. A user is warned 5 times before the battery runs out. Each warning is communicated by 3 vibrations: HIGH ? MEDIUM ? HIGH.

ADAPTIVE ACTIVE BRAKE
Automatically adjusts the engine braking power according to your needs.
This prolongs the life of the engine. There is also an option to manually set the braking power of the motor.

EQUALIZER
Enable the dynamic trigger point, which allows you to fire even faster.

Off: To fire a subsequent shot, the trigger must be released until the selected trigger sensitivity level is reached

• 2LVL - to fire a next shot,
it is sufficient to release the trigger approximately 40% of the movement of the trigger
• 1LVL - to fire a subsequent shot, simply release the trigger approximately 20% of the trigger movement

CYCLE DETECTION (gen.1.5)
Thanks to the shift cam sensor, the drop-in unit accurately detects in which position the cycle should end. Therefore,
even the shortest trigger action produces at least one complete cycle. The sensor detects the shift cam instead of the teeth, so all types of gears can be used: Infinite Torque-up, DSG, SSG, 19-tooth and standard.

Thanks to the cycle detection function you get:
Automatic Burst: There is no need to manually set the burst time.
You can simply set the number of shots fired in a burst (the available options depend on the firmware edition).
Full Cycle: When pre-cocking is off, the drop-in unit ensures that the gearbox completes a full cycle. This way you get greater reliability.

NOTIFICATION SETTINGS
You can enable or disable warning information and vibration,
and make your gun stealth.

Available in EXPERT firmware.

DIAGNOSTICS
This feature allows you to troubleshoot your AEG in case of a problem. Errors are reported once they occur and their description can be found in the GCS app.

SETTINGS PACKAGES
Starting with GCS Big Update,
you are able to save and store several GCS settings packages.

FIRMWARE UPDATE
GCS allows for firmware updates over the Internet, which allows you to quickly apply changes, enhancements and bug fixes.

SMART FUSE (Jan. 2)
The smart fuse protects the battery, motor and controller of your AEG, even in the event of a reverse battery connection.
A combination of current, voltage and temperature measurements makes your AEG installation highly reliable. Protects the MOSFET from overheating, overload and short circuit. If your airsoft gun gets jammed, this feature protects the motor and battery from damage. To reset the fuse, simply release the trigger.

MOSFET
Want to get higher ROF and faster trigger response? Are you planning an upgrade to the power of your gun? If so, you need a MOSFET.
It directs energy from the battery directly to the motor, bypassing the mechanical trigger contacts. As a result, you get a higher gun ROF and faster trigger response.

INTEGRATED AUTOTEST
This allows you to quickly check if the entry form is working correctly. It helps pinpoint where the problem is when something goes wrong.

COVERING
Thanks to its special conformal coating, our product is resistant to atmospheric conditions (Military Specification MIL-V-173C).
