Some elements of the Specna Arms CORE ™ light machine guns have been made from polymer to reduce weight and make the gun easier to handle. The polymer parts include: the receiver, the dust cover with a RIS guide, the sight with a base, the stock, the magazine and the pistol grip.

The metal parts include leftover elements such as the outer barrel, magazine socket, buffer tube or flash hider. The Specna Arms light machine gun is equipped with several steel parts: a bipod, external barrel lock, stock holder, trigger guard, carrying handle, as well as all pins and assembly elements.

The quick change spring system of the ESA ™ machine gun replicas, implemented in the machine gun replicas, allows a quick and easy adjustment of the replica power to the conditions expected on the playing field without the need to access a workshop or a set of special tools. The spring changing process takes literally seconds - all you need to do is pull out a single pin, pull the stock latch away, and pull out the spring guide along with the spring through the opening in the shift frame.

The replica is powered by a full-size, metal, heavy-duty M249 gearbox, which is characteristic for its high durability and good stock reliability. The mechanism is prepared for further adjustment and ready for the stress associated with providing cover fire. Inside are the following components:
