With Midland XT50 stations it is possible to communicate up to 8 km in open field. The communication distance may vary depending on the area you are in and the obstacles between the two devices. This product allows communication in PMR bands on 8 standard channels + 16 preprogrammed channels. In addition, both transmission and reception 38 CTCSS can be encoded, which allows for private conversations. Take advantage of the many functionalities of using the Midland XT50 radio stations, which are a real help: Channel monitoring, call, VOX, Roger's beep, scan channel. The PMR XT50 stations are equipped with a 1 700mAh battery pack that can be recharged via a USB cable connected to a computer or a 220V adapter. In addition, the station has an integrated battery power circuit (Auto Power Save) which increases the battery life by more than 50%. The stations screen provides all information on station usage, such as battery status, active features, the selected channel and more. The PMR XT50 is equipped with a 2-pin plug for adding a headset with a microphone for using radio stations using speakerphones. This facilitates their use by highly active people on construction sites, factories, security firms, etc. In addition, the station also has a microUSB socket to recharge the batteries.
