S&W M & P9 M2.0 T4E .43 UMAREX (2.4767)

M&P is the abbreviation of Smith & Wesson for Military & Police. This is the designation reserved for weapons used by tactical officers and others for self-defense. The M & P9 M2.0 is a good example. The CO?-powered T4E version is the corresponding high-end training pistol. Police and security services can use it to carry out routine operations. Authentic dimensions and functional elements, as well as a convincing recoil, guarantee extremely realistic maneuverability even without real bullets. The M & P9 M2.0 T4E fires .43 caliber chalk, paintball, rubber or pepper ammunition. It shares many features with the original: trigger safety, Picatinny rail and adjustable sights.

Trigger Pull: Looks very similar to a double action trigger. When the trigger is pulled, the inner barrel travels back into the magazine, sealing the barrel so less CO2 is wasted passing through it while also placing a round of paintball into the barrel. This makes the trigger a bit longer and heavier than a single action trigger. I believe the internal hammer / firing pin is engaged by the kickback action.

Accuracy: I managed to shoot a 6 inch group with most shots staying within 3 inches all well centered. The trigger when using rubber balls had more friction as the inner barrel slid into the magazine. When firing quickly with the pistol it is much less noticeable and overall the trigger is not bad.

Build quality: very good. The metal parts are where you would expect. The slide, slide stop, barrel, magazine and most of the internal parts give the T4E S&W M & P9 M2.0 nearly 2lbs, making this paintball version a little heavier than the real steel version (1 , 54 lbs.). The gun has a polymer frame, but this is normal with today's modern guns and helps keep the weight down. The fit and finish are also very good!

Realism: The Umarex T4E S&W M & P9 M2.0 paintball gun is a near-perfect replica of the S&W M & P9 M2.0 pistol made of real steel, from the fully licensed markings to the large .43 caliber barrel. If you've placed the paintball version side-by-side with the real steel version, I doubt you could tell them apart unless you start inspecting it closely and working on the action. You will find that the slide cycle distance is shorter than it would be, which means that when the slide stop is engaged, the slide does not roll back as much as real steel. Field removal of the gun will require some tools and pin removal.
